Pictures

Well here are the pictures I couldn't get uploaded yesterday. We are currently going through Boise, Idaho. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Tremonton, Utah last night so we could get some much needed showers and some real food. (We hadn't bathed in two days and basically ate snacks the whole time.) We are about 500 miles from Seattle, so hopefully (fingers crossed) we will get to Seattle tonight and get to stay in a bed again. Stay tuned for more pictures!!

Here is the RV my mom and step-dad rented for the trip. It is actually very spacious. It will seat 10 people (although I would not recommend 10 people) and had all the likeness of home-stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, & bathroom. There is also a shower on here, but we are not using it.
Here is mom and Rachel sitting in our driveway. They came and picked us up at our house so our vehicles weren't sitting outside all week.
Our captain, My step-dad Keith.

Ellen thinking she is cute wanting to drive. (Don't worry-we didn't let her)
We started the trip by going through Kansas and Colorado. While going through Kansas, we had to use the Kansas Turnpike. I am really glad we went through Kansas at night because there is really not a whole lot to see.

Here is Matt taking a crack at driving. The first few minutes were rough, but he eventually got the hang of it. Keith and Matt drove all night long. We stopped in Limon, Colorado for them to sleep.
As you can tell from this picture, I had no problem sleeping.

Here is a picture of Colorado. Some of the scenery was flat, but mostly hills.
Ellen couldn't handle all the excitement of going through Colorado.

I don't know if you can tell, but in the far distance is the Rocky Mountains. It was really cloudy that day we went through Denver, but we still got to see some of them.
More of Colorado landscape. Matt was intrigued by all the open range that Colorado and Wyoming have. There are even cattle guards at all the on and off ramps so the cattle don't get out.

And We're Off...

Well I have pictures of our trip so far, but I haven't had time to upload them. We are currently in Wyoming; we left last night around 6pm and my step-dad and Matt drove all night and we camped out in Colorado and we got back on the road about 8 this morning. We are hoping to make it to Salt Lake City tonight and see some fireworks. There is a possibility that we should be in Seattle by tomorrow night. Stay posted because I am going to try and get my pictures up.
