Pictures cont...

Yesterday morning we came home from the hospital. We were home by 11, so we beat the snow. I am so glad to be home!!!

In the hospital before we came home. She did not mind the car seat at all! We didn't hear a peep out of her the whole ride home.

Another one of Matt's favorites. He went to Wal-mart when we came home to get my prescrpitions filled and do some shopping, and this is what he came home to. We had such a big day yesterday that both of us were so wore out.

When Matt got home, he put together her bouncey seat. It was really humorous watching him do it.

Tonight we had a few visitors...my Aunt Adrienne, Uncle Andy and their daughter, Karli. Karli is the baby in the family on the Mennemeyer side, so she really didn't know what to think of Mackenzie. She kept trying to give Mackenzie her pacifier and when she wouldn't take it, Karli just shoved it into her mouth. It was really cute.

My step-sister Jamie came up from southern Illinois this morning. She drove 3 hours to see her new niece. It was really sweet of her to drive all the way here to see Mackenzie.

Karli snuggling with Mackenzie and Grandma Jeanine. She said she still wanted to be the baby.

The recliner twins. Matt and my dad are two peas in a pod. Sometimes it is really scary.

More pictures

Ok...so maybe I am going a little overboard, but I will more than likely not post EVERY day once we get home. We are just so overjoyed to have her in our lives.

Here is Uncle John and Isaak. We had a lot of visitors last night. Mackenzie made up for it by sleeping all day today.

Grandma Jeanine was snuggling with Mackenzie while Grandpa Mitch was lounging. They both look really comfortable.

The Momphard family came by last night and all of the kids got a chance to hold Mackenzie. I think we have found a future babysitter in Chloe.

Here Nina is showing some of her motherly love. She kept saying "baby" and wanted to help Mackenzie.

Matt took this picture after everyone left last night. He wanted me to post this and say that he thought his "two girls looked so precious and peaceful sleeping."

Today, Jennifer and Bailey came for a visit. I don't think Bailey knew what to think.

I think Mackenzie is already tired of me having the camera in her face, but she will get over it!!

Meet Mackenzie Nicole Eggering

Well, as most of you know, we had our little girl on Monday. It was definitely a surprise to us. She was born at 5:21 pm and was 7 lbs 19 inches long. She is really precious and beautiful. She already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. We want to thank everyone that has visited us while in the hospital and to everyone that has sent their wishes. We should definitely be home by Friday night, so if you want you can come and visit!!

Her first picture while in the OR. I had to have her by emergency c-section.

This was this morning...she sleeps and poops-that's it. The only time she cries is when we change her diaper.

Our first family photo. Thanks to Crystal who took it for us.
The next photos are all the proud grandparents. Mackenzie is already getting spoiled by them!!

If anyone would like to look, we had her pictures taken yesterday and they are on our365.com. Her birthdate is Jan 12 and the hospital is Barnes-Jewish in St Peters.
