Updates!!

I was able to finally get on here and get some pictures posted. I know they are probably out of order and I have more to post, but this is at least a start. Stay tuned!!

Papa turns 70

My grandpa turned 70 on April 10. My mom had a dinner at her house for him. It was really kind of funny because when it came time to eat, my mom gave him oatmeal because he is too old to chew!!
My cousin, Suzanne, came home from the marines for a few days. It was so nice to see her again.

My Great-Grandma got my grandpa a cane for his birthday. She had it painted Allis Chalmers orange because he collects that kind of tractor. She told him the reason she got him a cane was because he is getting old and he needs to start using on (and she is 94!!)!!

Me and my Papa.

Chloe's 1st Communion

Chloe Marie Momphard made her 1st Communion on May 3, 2008. I can't believe it; she has grown up so fast. I remember when she was 2!!

She is absolutely beautiful!!

Nina loves her Aunt Robbyn!!!!!

Caught you eating a cookie Anna!! (FYI this picture was taken by her husband, Steve. We thought it was hilarious!)

Just hanging out!

Cards/Cubs Game

Last Sunday my Dad, Jeanine, Matt and I went to the Cardinal ballgame. It was so cool because we were 5 rows from the field on the 3rd base line!!

This was my dads first ride on the MetroLink. It was kind of funny to watch him.

Fred Bird gave the St Louis University's mascot a birthday present before the start of the game. Guess what it was - A Build-a-Bear Fred Bird.

Albert Pujols up to bat.

Check out how close we were to the field!!

What's Going On?

Well, I wanted to let you all know that I have been trying to get my pictures off of my camera to post, but for some reason I can't do it. I will post pictures as soon as I can. To let you know what is going on, not much is really going on. I came home from work today to find Matt tearing out our bathroom (I had no idea he was going to start on it today) so know we have that mess to deal with. I have taken some pictures, so I will post when the project is complete so stay tuned!!

Weekend Activities

This last weekend Matt and I spent some time with Jeff, Jennifer, & Bailey. We had so much fun catching up and laughing!! Matt helped Jeff hang drywall in their basement while I bonded with Bailey. She is just so cute!! I love the way she says our names too. I am so glad they moved back home because now I hope we can see them more often.

Here is Bailey and me hanging out. She kept running to me and asking me to "play." The way she said it was absolutely irresistable!! (Jennifer I took this pic from you :-))

Here is Bailey having her Dora yogurt before she goes to bed. She is such a ham!! She sees a camera and she automatically says cheese!!

Home Improvement

Over the last few weeks, Matt and I have been "remodeling" our house. When I say remodeling I mean that we have painted. We are getting ready to remodel the bathroom though. We have everything ordered, we are just waiting on it. I have taken some pictures, but I will post them when we are totally done.

Stay tuned for pictures!!

Karli's 1st Birthday & Grace's 4th Birthday

My baby cousin Karli turned 1 on March 30th. My aunt and uncle had a party for her on the 29th. Since my other cousin Grace's birthday is on the 31st, they decided to have her party at the same time.

Here is Princess Karli in her 1st birthday outfit. She was so cute!!

The birthday girls!!

Here is Princess Grace trying to break the pinata.

We had to throw a big kid picture in there too. This is me, my cousin Greg and my twin sister Rachel.

Easter & Nina's Baptism

Easter at the Mennemeyer's

Grace trying to find some eggs. (Check out the two baskets!)

Notice everyone so bundled up. We had the craziest Easter Sunday!! It was snowing one minute and the sun was shining the next!

Baby Karli enjoying a treat.

Also on Easter Sunday, Matt's niece Nina was baptized. She was adopted by Doug and Margaret and was welcomed home in late January. She is just so cute and a very big cuddle bug!!

Here is the Momphard family - Doug, Margaret, Blake, Chloe, Jada, and Nina

Here is a picture of our nephew Ryan and his family - Crystal, Abagail, and Maci Sue.

Josh and Justin are trying to help Nina find some Easter eggs.

There is just something about men holding babies!!

Our new little stinker!!

Good Friday

On Good Friday, my grandparents had a fish fry at their house.

Matt and my dad doing what they do best...sitting, drinking beer, and talking.

While we were eating fish a couple of the guys decided they needed haricuts. My Aunt Michelle was the hairdresser for the evening.

James was one of the lucky ones that got his hair cut...

...and Matt decided to get his done too.

Here are the young girls.

Karli's Accident

My little cousin Karli was in a golf cart accident early in March. She is now looking so much better, but it was awful at first. The story goes that her brother Christian was giving her a ride on the golf cart and he took a corner too fast and she fell off. She hit asphalt and luckily didn't break any bones. All she has is a few rashes.

As you can see she was still a happy baby.

This was taken a week after the accident. She looks so much better!

Ellen Turns 16!!

My little sister Ellen turned 16 on March 5th. I can't believe it!! She has grown up so fast.

Here she is with her boyfriend Jake

Rich's Retirement Party

Matt's Dad, Rich, retired from Pepsi after 41 years!! His official retirement date was February 25, 2008. We all threw him a suprise retirement party, and boy was he suprised. There were people there he worked with when he first started. It was nice to hear all the stories about Rich through the years!

Instead of a guest book, we had everyone sign this Pepsi bottle cap sign. It was a really neat idea.

This was some of the memorabilia that we collected from everyone's houses and even some we bought. It was cool to see how Pepsi has changed over the years. Matt's sister Anna made a timeline of Rich's career at Pepsi and all the changes that happened in the last forty years.

This was Rich after we suprised him.

This is a picture of all the Pepsi co-workers throught the years.

Here are some of the guests.

Kansas City

Matt was in Kansas City for the Western Farm Show the weekend of February 22-24. I was able to go over there and spend time with him. He was in Kentucky the week before, so it was nice to spend time with him and actually see him at work!! Even after a year, it is still weird to see him in khakis at work and not his carpenter whites!

Here is Matt talking to a customer about a piece of equipment.

Here is a picture of my grandpa talking to some customers.

While in Kansas City I was able to meet up with Matt's sister Anna and her family. It turns out the kids are in a bowling league and the bowling alley was right down the road from out hotel. I spent the whole day with them on Saturday!!

Here is a picture of our niece Lauren.

Here she is throwing a ball down the alley. She is 3 1/2 years old and she is a better bowler that Matt and I!! Of course, she has bumpers. :-)

Here is Alex bowling too. He is really good!! He was able to qualify for a tournament because of his high scores!!

Farm Recognition Dinner

The Lincoln County Extention Center had a dinner for my grandma and grandpa in recognition of their farm becoming a Missouri Century Farm. The whole family was able to make it for the dinner, minus my uncle that lives in Seattle.

Here is the "award" they received.

Matt played with Lydia and Ryleigh the whole time. Matt and Ryleigh are big buddies!
